photography

I'm essentially a self taught photographer. I started shooting not too long before taking darkroom classes in high school in the '80s. For graduation I received a Yashika Super 2000, which I used for the next 10 years. Currently I use either a Mamiya 645, a Holga, or a Nikon 5700 depending on the circumstances. I've also shot with a Canon A1 and a 1930's Voigtlander Bessa 66. There are a couple of vintage 35mm viewfinders in my closet that need some servicing, but they'll make it out into the world some day. I really enjoy the craft of photography, therefore I lean towards manual and non-digital cameras. I tend to get bored quickly with digital, but it certainly has it's time and place.
